Welcome back to day 24 of the #blackcode28 Black History Month 28 day coding challenge. Today we journal. We only have 4 days left so let’s make them count and give our all!
We have done a lot of writing prompts talking about our future transition into the tech field. Today I want you to do two things. The first is to look at profiles on LinkedIn of people doing the job that you want to do and take note one their skills and core responsibilities. Write them down in your journal. The second is to look up companies you would like to work for and the description of your dream job. Write down that information in your journal. Also keep in mind that you may have to make up your dream job if it doesn’t yet exist.
Now let’s get into the writing prompt for today.
Writing Prompt
- Write about your future career in tech.
- Imagine a “perfect” day or week and script out all you want to happen
- Sign this journal entry with the date you plan to achieve transition into your new role.
